Reverend Thalangalle Siridamma Thero
Reverend Thalangalle Siridamma Thero has been serving the Sydney Buddhist community for 20 years now. He entered the Buddhist monkhood in 1985 at the Ingiriya Madakada Monastery under the patronage of the Chief Monk Reverand Ampitiye Mangala Thero. He was higher ordained in the year 1992 at the Wathuruvila Aranya Senasana. While in Sri Lanka, Reverend Thalangalle Siridamma Thero has offered his dedicated selfless services to thousands of devotees in Madakada Aranya at Ingiriya and Jayathunga Yogashramaya at Navinna
He became a resident Bhanthe at the Lankarama Buddhist Temple in Sydney in 1999. He has performed an invaluable service to the Buddhist Community in Sydney by conducting Monthly Sil programs and regular Meditation Programs, daily religious activities – Buddha Pooja, Bodhi Pooja, Pirith Chanting, Blessings, Dhamma sermons & Dhamma discussions, participating in Vesak, Katina celebration and much more.
